Interactive Robotics originated at TU Delft, where founders Joachim de Greeff, Koen Hindriks and Joost Broekens worked in research groups on artificial intelligence, social robots and human-robot interaction. “We noticed that many of the advanced techniques, algorithms and ideas were hardly applied in practice. That’s where the idea behind Interactive Robotics came from: making social robots usable for different purposes. ”
We believe that social robots will increasingly become a part of everyday life and strive to get maximum value from them. It provides a scalable cloud-based software platform for managing social robots and robot applications. In addition, there is also an intuitive development platform for easily creating social robot applications (by non-technical people). Extremely suitable in education and in healthcare.
Interactive Robotics actively participates in the developments. We work together with Delft University and Leiden University. We are working internationally in a European project Animatas to make social robots suitable for use in education.
